Филлипс (Henri Phillips) — американский археолог, нумизмат и филолог, род. в 1838 г. Был адвокатом из Филадельфии, но чувствовал особую склонность к занятиям языками и древностями. Главные его труды: «The Paper money issued by the Colony of Pennsylvania» (1862); «The History of the Paper Money issued by the Colonial Congress during the Revolutionary War» (1865); «History of the Pennsylvania Paper Money» (1862); «History of American Colonial Paper Currency» (1865); «History of American Continental Paper Money» (1866); «Medicine and Astrologie» (1867), «The Pleasures of Numismatic Science»; «Discovery of America by the Northmen» (1871); «The Magic of the Middle Ages; Albertus Magnus» (1872); «Danish Architecture of the Middle Ages» (1873); «The First American expedition to the North Pole» (1876); «Method used by the Aztecs in making Obsidian implements» (1877); «Old Time Superstitions» и др.
